Optimal control of complex networks with conformity behavior

Abstract Despite the significant advances in identifying driver nodes and energy requiring network control, a framework that incorporates more complicated dynamics remains challenging. Here, we consider conformity behavior into showing control of undirected networked systems with will become easier as long number external inputs beyond critical point. We find this point is fundamentally determined by connectivity. In particular, investigate nodal structural characteristic propose optimal strategy to reduce controlling behavior. examine those findings various synthetic real networks, confirming they are prevailing describing systems. Our results advance understanding practical applications.
